Create Local Access

D2iQ recommends configuring an external identity provider to manage access to your cluster.

However, you can create local users as an alternative, for example, when you want to quickly test RBAC policies. DKP automatically creates a unique local user, the admin user, but you can create additional local users and assign them other RBAC roles.

This section shows how to create and manage local users to access your Essential or Management cluster.
