Container Runtime Engine (CRE)

A Container Runtime Engine (CRE) installed is required to install DKP. You can choose one of these supported CREs:

  • Docker® container engine version 18.09.2 or higher installed for Linux or MacOS

    • On macOS, Docker runs in a virtual machine which needs to be configured with at least 8 GB of memory.

  • Podman version 4.0 or higher for Linux. You can find the host requirements here: Host Requirements.
