DKP 2.8.2 Customer Incidents and Resolved Issues

The following resolved incidents are fixed or corrected in this release:

vSphere CSI images moved

The upstream vSphere CSI container images used for non-Airgapped vSphere installations were moved from the gcr.io to theregistry.k8s.io registry. Konvoy and KIB have been updated to reflect the new image locations. When upgrading to DKP 2.8.2, use the dkp upgrade addons vspherecommand on each impacted cluster to update the vSphere CSI components.

Unable to delete AWS Nodepools

A problem that caused the dkp delete nodepoolcommand to fail on AWS clusters has been corrected

BanzaiCloud charts repo instability

The BanzaiCloud project chart repo at kubernetes-charts.banzaicloud.com has experienced volatility recently and the future status of this project is unknown.

DKP versions since V2.7.0 do not reference any charts from this repo, but this Helm Repository was still included in the list of repositories used by kommander. When the upstream repo is down, this would result in the helmrepository for this repo being in the non-Ready status. The list of chart-repos has been updated to remove this stale reference, and the DKP catalog has also been updated to remove references to this repo.
