Provision on the Flatcar Linux OS

When provisioning onto the Flatcar Container Linux distribution, you must instruct the bootstrap cluster to make some changes related to the installation paths. To accomplish this, add the --os-hint flatcar flag to the above create cluster command.

For provisioning DKP on Flatcar, DKP configures cluster nodes to use Control Groups (cgroups) version 1. In versions prior to Flatcar 3033.3.x, a restart is required in order to apply the changes to the kernel. For more information, refer to the Flatcar documentation.
